NOT RETIRING FROM BEING GREAT
Dr Young founded Bays Dental in 2001, and has developed a reputation for honest advice and dentistry of the highest quality. Now, after more than 41 years of clinical work Dr Young is retiring at the end of 2021. He leaves his patients in the very capable hands of his daughter, Dr Inah Mundy and son-in-law, Dr Lance Mundy who will be here to look after your continuing dental care.
We applaud Dr Young for his years of service and for taking such good care of our teeth over the decades.
It will take time to adjust to the idea that he is no longer at the practice, but we congratulate him on the happy- and well deserved- day of his retirement.
A FINAL WORD FROM DR YOUNG...
After 41 years of dentistry, I am finally hanging up my tools at the end of this year. Throughout the decades there have been many exciting technological advances in dentistry, but the last two years affected by Coronavirus has been very challenging. I will not miss the extra PPE the poor team will need to continue to wear, but I will definitely miss all of my loyal patients and the close relationship we have built together.
Thank you to everyone who has and will continue to entrust their dental care with Bays Dental. I can assure you that you are in great hands with my daughter Inah and son in law Lance. They look forward to getting you know you and your family as well as I did.

Aucklanders had it tough this year, and we can all agree that 2021 was a bit of a dud. In times like these it's good to remain thankful. So, we take a moment and reflect on the many good that came from this past year. Thank you to everybody who helped make this year bearable.
A big thanks to our patients. Thank you for tolerating the many reschedules. Your support and understanding during the Covid-19 pandemic means a lot to us.
Once again, a big shout out to our staff. Despite being battered and bruised by the admin difficulties that goes hand in hand with Alert Level changes, they stood their ground. They are spectacular. Thank you guys! You help make our practice world-class.
