BAYS DENTAL'S RESPONSE TOÂ COVID-19 Level 3 and 4
Dear Bays Dental Friends and Families, Yesterday afternoon, the Prime Minister announced that the country have now moved onto Alert level 3 in the fight against Covid-19. Tomorrow evening our country will move onto Level 4. These measures have been placed by the Ministry of Health to limit unnecessary person to person interactions and exposure- and therefore combat the spread of COVID19. Alert Level 3: This means that today and tomorrow until 1pm all dentists around Aotearoa are only to see emergency/essential treatment to limit the spread of COVID19 to our team, dentists and also other fellow patients. Alert Level 4: For the duration of Alert Level 4 we will be closed. We will cease seeing patients at 1pm tomorrow, 25 March 2020, and will close our doors only to reopen once the NZ government deems it safe to do so. During this time we would not be able to see any patients or perform any treatments. We are aiming to contact all patients affected by Level 3 and Level 4 to inform them of what this will mean for their upcoming appointments.  At this stage, we will not be able to offer you a date to reschedule your appointment- however you will be placed on a Follow up/Waitlist to rebook your appointment as soon as we are able/cleared to see you. Right now, it is unknown to all of us when this will be exactly- but we hope that we can see you in the next month or two. We understand that this can be incredibly frustrating, it is for us too- but together we can all work through this so we come out the other end stronger and healthier. Things may continue to change over the next week or two, we are guided by the government and we will update you when we can. During Level 4, we will not be contactable via phone, but please feel free to email us info@baysdental.co.nz and we can try and help you the best that we can. Stay Strong, Be Kind, Look after one another Sincerely, Drs Inah, Lance, Young and the entire Bays Dental Team.
